Advice for Teens to Navigate a Difficult Time
What readers – or rather Parents – say…
Three gifts for your teen
Advice for teens is serious business, or at least I believe it is. They’re young and already muddling through a messy day-to-day existence. So, why make it worse with bad advice?
This book has not one, not two, but three gifts for your teen. There are two workbooks and a journal included with this book.
I believe we learn best from a book when we can also do some activities to help understand the material. And because there’s so much inside this book, it has two workbooks and a companion journal. As you and your teen read this book, you’ll be prompted to do the associated activity.
These activities are designed to help your teen not just understand the material, but apply it to their own lives.
Note from the author
**As a side note, if you read my other books, you know that I ask for your name and email for inside-the-book materials, however, for my teen books, I am not asking for either. Therefore, all you or your teen needs to do is click or tap the link inside the book and they will be taken to a page to download the materials. I do not wish to market to your teens so I have made this choice for you and your child.**
Advice for teens to help them build confidence
No matter how old you are, you probably remember high school, for better or worse. This book is written for teens, but I recommend it for those who deal with teens every day as well.
There are some things teens today don’t want to hear from us:
- When I was your age…
- When we went to school we…
- Nowadays…
- We had it much worse…
The truth is each generation is different. If you’re my age (60ish), you grew up in a very different era with no internet or social media. The great invention of my generation was cable TV.
We had bullies, but they didn’t bully to the whole world on social media – it was confined to the school, playground or walk home.
Our challenges were different than theirs, but one thing remains constant. People whose self-esteem is low suffer through life, sometimes falling into deep depressions.
The goal of this book is to help teens understand the things going on in their lives and help them navigate their way to higher self-esteem and confidence.
If you’ve read my books, you know how important confidence is to your relationships – all relationships. You might not have built your confidence until you were in your 20’s, 30’s, 40’s or even later.
I don’t want today’s teens to go through that!
So, help teens you know by getting them this book!
